What a Difference A Day Makes

Thursday was a transformation day.  Both Robbie and Michael made major changes in their appearance.  Robbie has traditionally had pretty straight teeth, (unlike every other child in our family) but all orthodontists will insist every person should have braces.  Rob's major problems would be in the future, so we decided to curse his 15-year-old existence with braces.  He'll have a "coming-off" party when he turns 16.

Michael has been involved with soccer for years and those soccer balls have enabled us to get many free pairs of glasses due to breakage.  We thought we would eliminate further problems and get him contacts.  He has taken to them really well and they were very handy yesterday when he had to play a flag-football game in the POURING rain.  He was so glad that he didn't have his glasses on because he wouldn't have seen a thing.
